MY DEVOTION

Mass Readings I bless you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth,  for hiding these things from the learned and  the clever and revealing them to mere children. Yes, Father, for that is what it pleased you to do. Everything has been entrusted to me by my Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father, just as no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him..... My God Accept my Heart Heavenly Father open my heart, fill my heart with your love. Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I put my trust in you.  Lord Jesus Christ be my help.

May our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us eternal encouragement and good hope in grace, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good work and word.  2 Thessalonians: 2:16-17 Lord Jesus Christ thank you for working in my life. I pray for eternal encouragement and good hope in grace. Grant me your Spirit to strengthen me in every good work and word.

If you stick something in your eye, tears will flow; and if you hurt a person deeply, you will discover his true feelings. If you throw stones at birds, you will scare them away, and if you insult a friend, you will break up the friendship. Even if you have a violent argument with a friend, and speak sharply, all is not lost. You can still make it up with him/her. But any friend will leave you if you insult him/her if you are arrogant, if you reveal his secrets, or if you turn on him un-expectedly.

For you know the instructions we gave you by the authority of the Lord Jesus.  God wants you to be holy and completely free from sexual immorality. 1 Thessalonians 4:2-3 Lord Jesus Christ, you have called me to share the work of your kingdom. The Holy God of Israel, the Lord who saves you, says: "I am the Lord your God who want to teach you for your own good, and direct you in the way you should go" "If anyone of you had listened to my commands! My dear friend do not believe all who claim to have the Spirit, but test them to find out if the spirit they have comes from God. For many false prophets have gone out everywhere. This is how you will be able to know whether it is God's Spirit anyone who acknowledges that Jesus Christ came as human being has the Spirit that comes from God. But  anyone who denies Christ does not have the Spirit of God. The spirit he has is from the enemy..... 1 John 4:1-3

The Lord is my light and my salvation. I will fear no one. The Lord protect me from all danger, I will never be afraid. When evil people attack me and try to kill me; they will stumble and fall. Even if a whole army surround me, I will not be afraid, even if enemies attack me, I will still trust God. I have asked for one thing, one thing only do I want, to live in the Lord's house all my life, to marvel there at his goodness. In times of  trouble he will shelter me, he will keep me safe in his Temple, and make me secure on a high rock.....  Psalm 27

What I say is this: let the Spirit direct your lives, and you will not satisfy the desire of the human nature. For what our human nature wants, and what the Spirit wants is opposed to what our human nature wants. These two are enemies, and this means that you cannot do what you want to do. If the Spirit leads you, then you are not subject to the Law. Gal. 5:16-18

Now then, give praise to the God of the universe, who has done great things everywhere, who brings us up from the time we are born, and deals with us mercifully. May he give us happiness and allow us to have peace forever. May he continue his mercy to us and rescue us in our time of need.  Sir. 50:25-26

I am the word spoken by the Most High. I covered the earth like a mist. I made my home in the highest heaven, my throne in the pillar of cloud. God said to human beings, 'To be wise, you must have reverence for the Lord. To understand you must turn from evil." Job 28:28 Heavenly Father, I offer you situations that seems most overwhleming to me.

And we pray that you may be "made strong with all the strength that comes from his glorious power, and be prepared to endure everything with patience. Colossians 1:11 They are happy : who dwell in your house I pray that you may be joyful giving thanks to the Father. Holy Spirit stir up the fire of your love within my family, brethren and friends. Send your mighty power upon us so that we may live in freedom of your grace.

The Kingdom of heaven s like this. A man is looking for fine pearls, and when he finds one that is unusually fine, he goes and sells everythin he has, and buys that pearl. Matthew 13:45

We love because God first loved us. If we say we love God, but hate our brothers and sisters, we are liars. For people cannot love God, whom they have not seen, if they do not love their brothers and sisters, whom they have seen. Lord Jesus Christ, I want to hear your voice and receive the gift you promised me. The gift of the Holy Spirit. I trust in your goodness, come Lord into my heart. Guide me, help me to follow the path you are leading me with confidence. Ecc. 9:11-12 I realized another thing, that in this world fast runners do not always win the race, and the brave do not always win the battle. The wise do not always earn a living, intelligent people do not always get rich, and capable people do not always get in high positions.
